HOW TO SATISFY YOUR SAVORY CRAVINGS WITH AHTK GARLIC MEATBALLS

THE MEATBALLS ARE BACK AT IT AGAIN !!

BUT, this time, we are adding a little garlic-ey twist to it.

Meatballs have been pretty top of mind bc I’ve seen it on nearly EVERY appetizer menu.

TBH – I don’t think that it’s “meatball season”, but I’m here or it.

Meatballs are just so easy to throw over Palmini pasta, salad, GG crackers ( GG + whipped cream cheese + EBTB seasoning + AHTK garlic meatball – TRY IT!! ) or in a meatball sandwich.

I’m especially into it when there is garlic involved.

Garlic is one of those foods that tastes indulgent, but it ISN’T indulgent!!

In fact, garlic is great for your health. Recent experimental results indicate that garlic appears to enhance the immune system’s function by stimulating certain cells. Immune function is so important because immune dysfunction plays a role in the development and progress of several diseases (1).

AND BEST OF ALL??

It keeps vamps away!

Edward Cullen was overhyped anyways… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

** Pardon my dad jokes – my brain is still in Father’s Day mode :’) **

For this recipe, you could just bake the meatballs, but I like to brown the meatballs before tossing them into the oven. I love that crispy outside, but if I’m in a rush, I just throw them in the oven and put on the timer.

I browned the meatballs with truffle olive oil ( #YUM ) bc I was feeling fancy, but you could also use regular olive oil!

These babies are high in protein & fiber, taste garlic-ey, and satisfy your savory cravings – VERY AHTK approved.

Recipe

  • 1 lb 93% lean ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup diced white onion
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup pulverized GG crackers
  • 3 T minced garlic
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 egg
  • salt & pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F
  2. Add ground turkey to a large bowl with white onion, parmesan cheese, pulverized GG crackers, minced garlic, salt, and pepper
  3. Whisk an egg into a small bowl
  4. Add egg to ground turkey mixture and mix until well combined
  5. Place parchment paper on top of a baking sheet. Optional to spray with olive oil spray
  6. Divide the meat mixture into 16 balls and place on the parchment paper
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flip halfway

TIPS:

  1. Place a plastic jar opener under the bowl to keep it in place when mixing the bowl
  2. Divide the turkey mixture in the bowl before balling the meat so you can make an even 16 balls

I HOPE YOU ENJOY YOUR MEATBALLS!!

LMK which team you are – cheese stuffed meatballs or garlic meatballs ??!!

xx hails
