I’m the kind of girl who ALWAYS prefers heat over cold.

I just HATE the cold. I’d take a sunny 100° day over a cold day. Ironically, I’ve grown up in Chicago and went further north for school. Perhaps my hate for cold stems from my Hashimoto’s OR my self diagnosed SAD…

The only issue I have with warm weather is the sweat & a red face.

But no seriously – I turn redder than a tomato… so much that when I was in elementary school, the gym teacher would send me to the nurse’s office during gym class because my face would become SO RED.

I didn’t have any health issue, I’m just a REAL Gorski !! 🤣

You know how it is in the summer – you go outside, run around all day, and come back with 10 layers of nasty on your face.

If you’re commuting to the city like I am, you are prolly just adding to the layers…

Anyways, let’s get to it. These are my go-to products ATM that clean up the whole red//sweaty face situation.

It Cosmetics CC Cream

Why I just discovered this product is a mystery to me. I use this product every day in the AM.

Why we love it?

First, it provides you with FULL COVERAGE. It disguises all your dark spots and redness. I’ve tried BB cream, but ATM, I need more coverage. Say buh-bye to your tomato face and hello to flawless, even tone skin.

Second, it has SPF!!  This study suggests that UV exposure seems to be responsible for 80% of visible facial aging signs (1). Preserve your youthful skin while you can!! You also want to have a broad spectrum sunscreen, which protects from both UVA and UVB rays. SPF is a non-negotiable especially if you are shaving your face because you removing the outermost layers of skin and you may be more sensitive to sun exposure.

Third, this product contains ingredients that nourish your skin. It Cosmetics CC Cream is infused with hydrolyzed collagen, peptides, niacin, hyaluronic acid, antioxidants and vitamins. Love, love, LOOOVE a product that is a multitasker !!

Becca Ever Mat Poreless Primer

We can FINALLY stop stealing the Starbucks napkins to blot off excess oil and sweat thanks to this Poreless Primes. This primer acts as a liquid blotting paper to leave your skin fresh & matte all day.

I use this on my t-zone ( before I put on my CC cream ) because that’s where my skin produces the most oil and sweat. We LOVE a dewey, glowey look, but only in certain areas.

Pore Cleansing Pad

This is where we clean the 10 layers of nasty off our face.

I am obsessed with this pore cleaning pad because it massages my face without pulling on the skin ( AGAIN – we don’t want to accelerate the aging process !! ). It also gently exfoliates my skin while removing 99.5% of dirt and sweat. I take off my makeup every night, splash water on my face, then wet this cleansing pad and adding some facial cleanser to it. EVERY TIME, I remove the mascara, CC cream, & brow pencil that the makeup remover didn’t.

This cleaning pad is also amazing because it is environmentally friendly – you don’t throw it out and can easily wash it without reducing its effectiveness. Because it’s silicone, it’s easy to clean and doesn’t hold on to bacteria how a fiber fabric would.
